TOM KINGTON, EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY
UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX

Welcome to my third year project, nice of you to come

These are links for PAUL FURNER to 2 examples of image flips that I have been playing with in the last couple of days;

the downloads may be slow due to the duff server thay are currently on (but hey it's free!)

NO. 1: MY HOUSE
NO. 2: NICE BUTTONS? or at least a choice of them!

the above links are obviously not ironed out, i was just practising the HTML and I don't have a decent CAD or graphics program, so I was just using freeware, the graphics were hastily drawn, because the purpose of the page was to create multiple image flips, or try out reactive menu's.

PAUL To see my degree website just look on down, I have just added this box onto the top. follow the links below, first you will be taken to see the instructions, but just scroll right down and then continue and you will see the experiment on aesthetics, and the interactive forms which are sent straight to my e-mail address.

if you continue right through, there are some spectacular Ronaldo Goals in MPEG format on the 'explanations and questions' page

You may have just stumbled here randomly, through a browser, or probably I've asked you personally to come here, either way, come on in

The experiment which you are about to take part in is a hefty chunk of my degree (hence me taking the time to create this little monster),
The experiment aims to discover: whether liking a particular piece of art is partially influenced by our biological heritage, Whether the underlying mathematical strategies that guide the development of human vision, might affect our aesthetic evaluation of Art.

However, that's a bit of a mouthful, What I am basically trying to discover is whether the amount we like seeing particular things is connected to the method with which we learn, as babies, to make sense of what we can see.

Don't be scared, all that is required from you is to look at some paintings then answer some questions, all will be revealed once you follow one of the links below.

Oh, one last thing, contrary to popular wisdom about Psychology, this experiment won't have me gaining any insight into your darkest secrets, I will be no more able to deduce your most embarrassing character flaws, any more than I will be basing future relationships on the results of this Project!
There's nothing to worry about

To begin with I need you to click randomly upon either of the links below, whichever you want, then we can start.

YOU COULD CHOOSE
THIS ONE?
OR MAYBE
THIS ONE?

(DOESN'T MUCH MATTER WHICH)
